About Pokemon Platinum

Pokemon Platinum is the third game of the 5th generation of Pokemon Games,. Platinum will mimic how Pokemon Emerald (GBA), Pokemon Crystal (GBC), and Pokemon Yellow (GB) have been the third renditions of the past Pokemon games.

I know you may be thinking “what’s going be so great about platinum it’s just a remake” well based off of prior games that assumption would be correct, but this is not the case with Platinum. Platinum will prove to be a lot different than Diamond and Pearl. It will feature a new story and several new improvements, you can view some of the known features below. If you need to know any more information or would like some greater detail you can check out this website further.

New Features

Battle Frontier

If you were one of the people that owned Pokemon Emerald, you will be glad to know that TheBattle Frontier has been added to Platinum; in case you forgot with this feature you will be able to battle 7 consecutive trainers in the battle tower. The battle frontier in Platinum has a new twist it will have five different areas that complete the entire frontier. A new area of the battle frontier will be called Battle Factory: you’ll be able to battle with up to three rental Pokemon. The pokemon you are able to rent will Increase as time goes on.
New expanded GTS

Wi-Fi Square is a new function that will allow up to 20 players from around the world gather and play. Wi-Fi Square also has three fun mini games that can be enjoyed by up to four simultaneous players:

Gym’s get makeovers!

Something that has never been done in a third rendition of a pokemon game are changes to the overall look and design of a gym. This changes in pokemon Platinum as all of the gyms have gotten some visual upgrades. Eterna Gym now has a flower watch in the center, and its hands move with the defeat of each junior trainer. Another gym alternates between light/darkness, and Veilstone’s gym now has boxing rings.
